What we do
Through our services transformation programme we have moved many of our Primary Care Support services online, including: ordering medical supplies, tracking patient’s GP records, Performers List applications and Ophthalmic GOS payments. These services are now hosted on PCSE’s online platform, PCSE Online.
The launch of these online services is a key part of our work to digitally transform all the services we provide on behalf of NHS England and helps ensure that our customers experience streamlined, faster and more efficient services.
In a digital age our service users and patients have benefitted from these services moving online.
Working together to improve Primary Care for all
As well as improving the service for end users these services also reduce our environmental impact. Capita is committed to being a responsible business and have recently developed a responsible business strategy which defines the environmental, social, ethical and governance issues of importance to our business and society, and the actions we are taking to address them. By transforming these predominately paper-based services we are becoming a more responsible business.
Throughout the development and introduction of these new services, we have been working collaboratively together with stakeholders and customers, including NHS England, British Medical Association, NHS Pensions, NHS Business Service Authority, British Dental Association, Association of British Dispensing Opticians, Federation of Dispensing Opticians, Royal College of Optometrists, Care commissioners, the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants and many others, to make sure that users get the most out of our services.
